im off to the hills :-)
actually only planning as of now.. my darling mom n dad are talking of taking me to Nainital next weekend..
its an overnite journey by train till Kathgodam and then a 30 km drive till Nainital.
Seems like it would be loads of fun..
Since its my first trip anywhere in India outside Delhi (except for the month long vacation to my grandparents in the Gulf last year when i was a baby); was wondering if you guys have any experiences or handy travel tips you could share ?
They would surely be useful for us too as mom's kinda hyper about travelling with me !! she is a scaredy-cat.

Just ensure that your Mom carries enough eatables for you and also some woolens :)

yes just cry louder .. your dad or mom will carry you around to make you sleep.. you can oggle at all the beutifule babes in the train...

What fun. Just take enough toys to keep busy on the journey. Or travel around sleep times :)
just have fun emaan ...since it's a hill station ..it's gonna be cold so carry all the woolen with u ....being in delhi though I guess u r used to ...but still...
Also ...and it's important...carry a polythene...coz u just may puke out somethings....Vomiting is common when u travel in a hill station..

try momos at the street market, they are yum, even manchow soup...dont shop stuff from Tibetan market... its too high priced...
and m forgetting d name of a chinese reste located on the mall... which is amazing for dinners...
